Spring is in the air

Post by BigVeeGrin »

Planning ahead to put the front end right. Done brake lines, hopefully steering head at the McQ gathering, so forks.

Springs? Tony has mentioned hyperpro, had a look at hagon which are a bit cheaper. Any others worth looking at and are progressives sprung according to rider weight?

If you get progressive springs they are supposed to work for any weight. Fixed rate springs need to be weight related.

You could have a word with K-Tech they are very helpful and knowledgeable (although due to this they may tell you to change the colour to improve performance!!) -

Better still get Roger to work his magic on the forks. Mine have been breathed on by him, they have completely transformed the way the bike handles. Definitely money well spent IMHO.

You could email him for a quote, here's his site:- http://www.revolutionuk.co.uk/ You might be suprised at what he charges. OK it's going to be more than the new springs and oil will be costing you, but not three or four times as much. At least by having him do the job you'll be getting a complete job instead of only half of it

No before you ask, I'm not in anyway linked by family to Roger, or am I on commission,

Chris.
