Decided to do a fork upgrade and refurb

Got some size 9 K-Tech springs....away we go





Let it drip dry overnight, then refurb the outside

Gonna spray them satin black

Refit and then do the other side

Hope you've pumped the damper tube to get all the old oil out doesn't look like enough oil in the bottle ?.

Have taken the internals out ready to modify the rebound rod

Decided to replace the bent handlebar

And maybe straighten the fairing frame

The fork legs are covered in paint remover

Bloody hell mate, is that dent in your tank from your body? no wonder you was bruised the way you were.

I am very much interested in the taper mod, I would like to do that to mine. Post loads of pics and describe the process. What paint are you gonna use for the forks.

The dent is from the magnet on the tank back

Will be using hammerite special undercoat for aluminium then satin black top coat

The taper rod process is on the link, but I will do my best
