Hello to all,


Purchased my first road bike three days ago,red 99 model which I think is 100% standard.
Traded in my drz400 for it, $300 changeover. I'm in love with my new beast already.

I live in Brisbane,Queensland,Australia. Been riding off road for over twenty years with the odd road-trail here and there being the only on road experience I have. I have arthritis in my back so decided it was time to switch to the road and give the back a rest. After just three days on this beautiful machine I'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner.

All though she is a bit rough around the edges I am looking forward to spending long nights in the garage with her, getting her back to her former beauty. I have very little mechanical experience and hope to learn a lot from you all.

Welcome to the madhouse!!

Keep an eye out for a bonkers 60 year old tearing about on either a V2 Tuono or a V4 Tuono. It'll be my Uncle Rich.

Don't try and race him though!! He's a bit quick!

He's in the Algester area and can often be seen terrorising race rep riders around Mt Glorious.
