Good choice mate. I bought my first bike 13 years ago. Wish it was a Storm as it would have saved me 7 bikes in between. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Loving mine and only had it 7 months. Enjoy
.........So far, so good, so what!

The neighbours would definately hear three of us coming!
I went to Bently for the first time on wednesday. Also first time riding in a group. It was a bit quick for me to be honest. Still taking it quite steady. Haven't got the hang of this overtaking lark yet. Need to stop riding like I drive a car!

Cheers Stu.
Welcome to the group Stu.

The real problem is trying to stop driving the car like a bike rider... I've had to stop myself going for overtakes which you wouldn't think twice about on a bike, but in a car would be fatal!

Just remember, it's not a race, so ride at the speed you are comfortable with. If the others want to go off and be highway hero's or "donors" as my paramedic friend says, leave them too it. A good group will never get too far away from the last man, they'll have their crazy burst, but then they'll let you catch up.

Welcome & ride safe. I upgraded from a 600 & despite riding for years, the difference is incredible. That said I reckon the power delivery of a Storm gives a greater margin for error than say a Fireblade. Enjoy :D
