Mini indicators

Post by G-Pro29 »

Hi I've bought some mini arrow style indicators and the spacers I've got are too small for the holes on the fairing any ideas how to fit them ?

Cheers Gav

You can get larger spacers, or fit large cats eye types, or the large teardrop ones.
The other option is to use tiny ones with long stems.

Have a look on the "pimp your ride" section for some ideas, and how they look.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Gav,

I have got some Motrax LED indicators on mine. Motrax do Indy Spacers. Unfortunately they do not do ones for the Firestorm, only SP1 or SP2. The best fit I have found are the Kawasaki ones. They are a tiny bit small but do just about fit ok.

Gav,

I used Motrax Indy spacers reference ISK1.

The Motrax LED indicators were on the bike when I got it. On the right side of the bike there is a shaped rubber grommet that runs around the edge of the hole in the fairing. The spacer fits nicely on this side. On the left hand side the grommet is missing and so the hole in the fairing is a little bigger all the way round. If you have the rubber grommets they should fit fine. If not, they should still be ok but not quite as neat as the spacers are only slightly wide than the hole and about 2mm shorter than the hole.

Forgot to say that you can get them for about £5.00 including postage on ebay.

Anyone know of any indicator spacers to fit the Storm? Front. (old topic resurrected)
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!
