It certainly won't help. If it's only at 4500 rpm and not throughout the rev range I wouldn't worry too much about it. I expect the bike will be safe to ride. Have you got the original exhaust on the bike? You could check to see if the exhaust mountings on the pegs are done up tight.

While your at it, check the chain for any tight spots and is adjusted properly as this has been known to cause vibrations as well.

Mine used to vibrate alot i put it down to the v twin thing of they all do it, not so, noticed a slight amount of wear on rear offside wheel bearing, so replaced em all, and the chain and sprockets coz they were on their way out, and balanced the carbs, also if you have cans on with link pipes that have brackets that attatch to the foot rest plate, this dosent help I cut them off, vibration is still there but a hell of alot less

He will only get the vibrations and a slight noise from the chain side, I've had two bikes now where previous owners have tightend the chain right up and pass the bike onto me, the Triumph needed new chains and sprokets because the previous owners efforts of chain adjustment, I swear some people do them on paddock stands.

Vibrations on V twins are normal, if he sat on my Harley he wouldnt like the vibrations on that, but the ladies do
