new taller battery

Post by doggit »

hey guys just a quick question, i have just bought and fitted the larger 14A battery, and as its taller my + red connector fits but the - black connector is not long enough to reach the battery connector, so can i fabricate a plate and bolt one end onto the bike connector and then bolt the other end onto the battery, or have you guys who use the bigger battery got a better idea
cheers

cheers flatline, i didnt have enough play in the cable to re route, so have ended up bending the connector on the end of the lead to 45 degree, and also a big of fettling with the batter just moving it around, and have now a secure fit onto the battery, and have to say this 14 A battery is the dogs danglies, it fires as soon as i hit the switch, a lot better than my previous 10A one, and now can go to olivers mount in scarbourgh tomorrow with confidence in my new battery
