Yes, it'll fit.

For the rear, any you like the look of, but favourites are Renthal, and this type, with an aluminium inner but steel outer, are the weapon of choice, but expensive.

Aluminium teeth wear too quickly, so avoid those.

And a decent quality chain to go with it, Tsubaki, Reynolds or similar.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

That's a standard size (tooth) sprocket mate. There would be no gain in putting it on, apart from when/if you next buy a new chain and rear sprocket to got with the front.

How much more adjustment do you have on your chain adjuster?

Have a look at your rear sprocket, if the teeth are quite worn on one side. Or slightly bent forward (like mine was) then you'll be ready to invest in a new chain and rear sprocket.

Always change chain and both sprockets at the same time as well. They will then wear in together. If you put new sprockets on with an old chain or visa versa they will wear down a lot quicker. So best to change as set.

Maybe go 1 tooth larger than standard on the rear, give you a bit more bottom end take off. :biggrin I personally prefer the Renthal but if you fancy a bit more bling (only yellow though, no Red I'm afraid) you can get what BSM has, the Supersprox sprocket. These are ali apart from the outside ring of teeth which are hard wearing steel.

D.I.D o ring chains are good. Generally the more you pay the better the quality

This is what my old rear sprocket looked like before I swapped it (not had it long before I swapped it)

It's not the best pic to show an example of a bad one but look at the tips of the teeth.

And you can only just see the teeth slightly pulling forward if you look closely.

And the new un with the chain mmmm sexy

Thought id go for the D.I.D x ring and hopefully it'll last!

That is properly worn that top pic. :eek2 Got your money's worth out of it.

And the difference in feel with new chain and sprockets is amazing. Another thing to check while your at it chris is the Cush drive rubbers. And it's probably worth investing in some new sprocket nut's and use a bit of threadlock with them

Yeah I ran it for about 6 months like this after I got it until I got the doh for a new en.

I think it might be just me in this (yeah it's just me) but when i clean, degrease and lube it I get a semi on and some relish comes out

It's standard rear and standard chain mate. Yeah it's right at the end of the adjustment, I got about 3mm adjustment left but as you know you don't need much to tighten the chain up.

When I get round to it I'm going to get a new rivet link and take a link out but fine for now! My attention has been taken up with jetting and tinkering with the carbs

Take a link out and that will shorten the wheelspan so should give you a bit more turn in.

Yeah I was thinking that, also with it being shorter wheel base, the front end should come up Even easier

just be careful, if you need to take a link out it WILL be because your chain is stretched, check on the rear sprocket, grab your chain at the rearmost part of the sprocket and see how far you can pull the chain towards the rear of the bike, I cannot remember how much you are allowed but it is not alot. If it's more than the specified amount your risking a snapping chain

Even if it was too long from new due to having a smaller front sprocket on?
