yesterday was mental busy for me, carl, and my mate chris...aka the mechanic
befrore they arrived i striped the bodywork of the bikes ready to complete a long list of jobs
heres what we achieved
re-routed and repaired the wiring loom
semi repaired the o/s rearset
fitted new chain
fitten new kill switch
fitted new undertray and rear led lights...(bastid of a job)
had another tinker with the carbs
set the tps to bang on 500
fitted a different bottom to the airbox
fitted a new 100% brighter headlight bulb
fitted a freshly painted front subframe
i also got the chance to tighten all the fixings on the fairing and sort out the indicators

the only things we couldn't do was the 19ltr tank conversion, this was my fault tho because i needed to buy a certain part and i couldn't find one at short notice, still i hope to sort it out next week.
we also run out of time and didn't get a chance to repair the minor damage to the exhaust.
carl and chris were fantastic, i even got to see carls fish impressions
i'm over the moon because i have a fuel warning light for the first time :D
and fingers crossed no more blown fuse's
in fact i'm just about to finish bolting the screen and fairing lowers back on....
thanks again lads for all your help...

And swept up the gravel at the end of your road?
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Dropped mine off with Daz at "The Bike Shop" in Tamworth for an MOT - asked him to sling on my lightened flywheel while he has it, we were unable to get to Mids workshop day to do it, I'll be commuting in the Jaaaaaag this week anyway. Need to look at Pauline's, only firing on one cylinder, the other with occasional bangs from the other. Suspect fuel related as it hasn't had a run over 5 miles since the CCTs were done. I'll check for pinched hoses and vacuum pipe routings etc. strange - it took about 40-50 miles before it manifested, didn't think the carb bowls were that big - maybe a partial fuel feed? /;-?

Bugger they looked right size and look the same as the pilots that are in the constant velocity carbs?

I don't know I think they may be OK. I know it says PWK but then have a look at the applications list here
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130484446234? ... 1423.l2649 as long as they are for the series 21. I don't think you will be needing the 52 pilots though.

No but it is a series 21 jet which is what we need for our carbs. N424-21

the ones i got were off a crf450 - same part number. i found the 50s worked best for me but had to tweak the mixture screw to get em spot on.
ive got the adjusting tool in the garage if u need to use it seb.
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
