Possible replacement fastners?

Post by seb421 »

have always thought it would be nice to have quick access bolts / screws that don't require tools

could these be used say on the air box lid / petrol tank two top bolts?

if not anything similar that would work?

dzeus fasteners wouldn't work on the airbox without serious modding to get the female part of the clip secured. Don't know about those ones on ebay Seb but I know where you coming from with those poxy airbox screws.

Why couldn't Honda design an airbox lid that has a thread coming up through the centre and then a recessed large butterfly clip in the middle of the lid. That would be so much more easy than 8-10 screws.

A small handheld battery screwdriver is the answer.
