:Fish: :Fish1:

You might be onto something with that subframe. The fall may have just knocked it out of place a tad. Or maybe a little adjustment of the fairing and undertray may sort things out. We did sort of rush getting that back together the other day as time was getting on and it started to rain.

I'm not that impressed with that undertray and the quality of the wiring for those poxy lights. We had a nightmare with that wiring. It's a shame it not all wired into a quick release multi-plug. :(

If only you could see the lack of quality with the wire supplied on those lights. It is so thin that you can't strip it with crimpers or side cutters. Got to burn the plastic with a lighter and solder wont stick to the wire either. If it was mine I would strip the lights apart and re wire the whole thing with better quality wire. Actually if it was me I would not have those lights  especially with the built in indi's  There is also hardly any difference in light intensity between the stop and tail.

Sorry Marty I'm not impressed, but it's your choice.

i've been a busy boy today
this morning i went to a local suspension/race bike guru and he put new fork spring/oil/seals on the bike, plus he straightened out my rearset and adjusted the rear shock to match the front, the difference is unbelievable, all i have to do now is get my new tyres on (metzeler m1's) and get the bike down to the dyno guys in kent.
i also had the chance to spray my spare rocker covers with red vht paint, to say i was dissapointed is an understatement, i spent a long time rubbing down and preping the cases, they weren't perfect but they weren't bad either, i used this.....
Image
simoniz vht red paint, its applies nice and smoothly but when it drys it looks like pink/orange :wtf: (feel free to take the piss  )with a matt finish, when its wet and glossy it doesn't look to bad, now i will be applying several coats of vht clear laquer and i hope/pray that this will bring them to a nice glossy finish but it ain't looking good, and heres the pictures to prove it :x

i wouldn't reccomend this paint to anyone looking for a nice glossy fire engine red finish
i also got around to fitting my carbon fibre yoke cover and probolt yoke/stem nut..... :D

blue oyster bar baby!!!!!!!!! :bondage: :Gay:
the hiss thingy is an original hiss ignition cover with nothing underneath so to speak, it just tidy's up the top yoke, otherwise there'd be two small screw holes either side of the ignition

Shame your not happy with the finish fella, maybe the lacquer will improve it. Are you just trying to take the edge off of the performance a little by adding one of the lesser colours? Maybe add some yellow and/or orange to really make it safe.

I have a feeling ones some heat gets into those rockers the paint will change again with heat and fully cure. It should hopefully darken up a bit. I'm not sure about lacquer as it will most probably blister with the heat and may react with that paint

its vht laquer mate, so it should be ok, the finish at the mo is good, its just its a matt colour and a bloody horrible one at that, and kev your spot on, my raging 67 horse powers needed reigning in slightly
hence the yellow battery and red rocker covers, although i have no intention of using orange
