Not another new guy
Not another new guy
Hi,
Having recently acquired a Firestorm (2002, 14,000 miles and very yellow) I have been reading a lot of the past posts on here in an effort to familiarise myself with some of the finer points of these wonderful machines and your community.
The only twin I have had previously was a little Honda Bros 400 after I passed my test a good number of years ago. Since then I have ridden a number of four's so I'm still finding pottering round at "only" 4,000 rpm slightly disconcerting. Loving the torque and the ride in general and, so far, fairly pleased with my purchase (though the yellow is something of an an acquired taste)!
Greetings to you all
Dexter

Welcome, nice to see another new storm owner. More second hand storms are being bought than new Fireblades I reckon !

Welcome to the club Dexter
Careful what you say about yellow though, some of us are very sensitive....but I think at 2002 you have the yellow yellow, which s a fair bit lighter than the older gold yellow

Thanks and duly noted on the colour sensitivity! Not trying to slander it just not owned a bike quite this bright before!

And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes, I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.
