bike electrician knowledge needed

cnt find a local storm rider to me to come help me anyways and i cant start my bike to test it or check out my new scorpions etc coz i dnt have my tank as it of for airbrushing .. but no1 local to come have a play so hey guess i gotta wait for me tank to come bak lol

Having a look at the wiring diagram it seems pretty straight forward.

Go through the fuses on the fusebox to find out which fuse connects to the ignition feed. I think this may be the 20a fuse. So to confirm it, start the engine (this is where your problem lies, so may have to wait until the bike is up and running) pull the fuse and the bike should cut out. With the fuse still removed and ignition on, stick a test light on and find out which side of the fuse is the ignition live. The Brown/Pink wire connects to this and then the Grey to the opposite side of fuse.

Then there's the long Blue that needs to be connected into the stator (starter relay) which is the the feed to the starter on the left side tail fairing. and the shorter Blue needs to be connected to the small Red/Black wire on the alarm unit under option. Why it's an option I don't know as I don't see an alternative, unless it means leave disconnected if you do not want the remote start function.

TBH I'm with Rob on this and am not a fan of remote starts. Don't see the purpose in it myself, and is just a gimmick that serves no purpose towards anti-theft.

I think your going to have to leave this part of the alarm for now and concentrate on getting the rest of the bike done. So unless you can get the bike up and running I would leave it. If I was local, I would pop round and could probably get things connected without starting the bike by tracing the wires, but I'm not.

If there is a main fuse to disable the alarm temporally I would do this if I was you, as it may hinder starting of the bike or mask any other teething problems you may have with the re-wire.

the fuse part is no problem tbh as u will see yaself the fuse box is labeled and shows the ignition fuse and the wires under neath are open and can see the wires coming from below the fuse .. its the start relay that confuses me i know where the start relay is as u say its on the side of rear cradle but if u look on ur bike pull up the rubber cover u will see there are 4 wires there and i only need 1 of those wires to put the blue wire to . i need the input trigger one of those 4 wires is the input trigger which it is i have no idea and i dnt have a tester n even if i did i wudnt know how to use one ha ha ha

OK without looking at my bike there are 4 wires. Looking at the stator bottom right of wiring diagram. There the broken Red line that goes to the R/R then there the solid Red that goes to the Ign Switch. This also has a fused feed taken off it that goes to the temp warning and fans. There's Green/Red that goes to the clutch switch, this also has a feed taken from it leading to the fuse box. Then there's the Yellow/Black that goes to the starter button.

So summarise
1st wire goes to R/R
2nd wire goes to Ign switch
3rd wire goes to Clutch switch
4th wire goes to Starter button

I'm not sure the wire colours in the diagram are the same as on the bike, but at a guess I suspect you need the feed to the starter button. If you compare the colour wires you have at the starter switch compared to what's at the stator, I may be wrong but at a guess I would think that's the one you need.

Download the diagram and zoom in and trace the wires.

ive wired it all up now alough im left with a small black wire labelled start and a black antenna wire ??

it says on instructions for remote start option connect small blue wire to red black wire at moment blue wire is conected to red positive start wire the negative start wire is not connected to it but is wired in with the black negative battery wire .. way it says it it looks like the blue start wire shud be connected to both red and black so that red black and blue are all together but in my opinion i duidnt think u cud put positive and negative to a wire ??

thank u every1 for your help i have done it and it works button turnes engine over etc it just wnt start as i have no fuel feed as no tank ha ha but its wired up and done ..

yep coz all attempts to find a local rider to pop his tank on mine for a moment to testr it all and test the new cans etc have failed lol
