Here's a clearer pic.
It looks like that is the hose for the front carb, but should be run around the other side of the reservoir bottle. Note the one from the thermostat housing on the bottom left of pic that goes across to the other side and curls up round to connect to the rear carb.
The breather hoses will run from where the tank sits along the left side of frame and hang loose down there somewhere.
Just one thought, on the thermostat housing there is a pipe which looks as if it should connect to one of the coolant pipes, but on close inspection is actually blanked off.
AFAIR it's the smaller rearward-pointing one.
It's easy to connect a coolant pipe to it and then be confused by having a connector but no pipe to connect to it.
Check by seeing if you can poke anything up the pipe.
Caught me out once, following an engine swap.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
nope i now realise these 2 hoses are the ones for the fuel tank the breathers and overflow so there are no spare hoses for this aparent coolant pipe that goes to outside nubbings as is there no spare pl;ace at all on any collant related items in the engine to put a hose from to carbs im far 2 confused nothing makes sense
yea well i wanted manual ccts but the person on here iw as getting them from decided to completely vanish afta i asked if he can supply the lock key with them and how much wud be for the 2 of them plus key he read my message and never heard bak from him again and i dunno where else to get them from only ever seen them on here .
god i wish sum1 cud help me like its really driving me mad all the diffrent things people are saying diagrams shown not matching my bike etc i have no idea watsoever wat to do lol
You don't need a key when replacing OEM CCTs with manuals - just set the timing as specified for each cylinder - (cable tie the chain to the cam on the rear just in case) and then gradually slacken off alternate rear CCT retaining bolts so it comes out smoothly and as straight as possible.
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
im really wound up now like just tightend the chocke bits bak into carbs and one has snapped now its stuck in carm and not locked on cos it snapped and the threaded bit is inside ffs can u replace them little end bits or do ya have to now get a whole choke unit
