Could someone tell me the internal hose diameter of the small coolant hose that sits in the V? I have a small leak coming from this hose, I have changed the clips but still leaking so can only assume the hose is kapput!

I wonder if it's the same size as the carb breather hose http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic ... 98#p215529 yoy could try it and see. It can be added to the list once the size has been confirmed.

From memory it's between 15 and 20mm ID, so get a length of 20mm ID and a couple of new hose clips and make one.
It's a straight length of hose, so nothing fancy needed.
They often leak, and it's a bugger to spot where the coolant spraying over your left boot is coming from.
