Hi

Just picked up a Valderado Clutch cover on the bay... It is exactly the same apart form the water pump which i can just use the original.
It also has a little breather coming from the water pump bearing case, which is sealed so must just be a breather to the shaft???
So hopefully i might be able to start this beauty sooner than i thought.

Yes, the little breather (either just a hole or a 90 degree bit of tube) is to allow any coolant seeping past the ceramic bearing to escape rather than going into the oil.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Clutch cover on and she is running, took a good battery charge and a gallon of fuel, but she is running after two years of being off road.
Just the exhausts to sort... I found two sets in a day and now have a decision to make carbon can Co or Vipers???

Nice one, a bike back from the dead.

Now check the oil level; it always drops half a litre after being started the first time.....

Re the can choice- Vipers, if they're ali, Ti or SS sleeves, but CCC's if they're carbon fibre.

Just my own preferences, neither will disappoint.

Yeh I notice the level is down slightly, I had the sump off too so she had a proper clean out. I must top her up before i start it again.
In the end bought both cans, will have to sell one set on ebay or hee once decided.
