Cause when your playing with carbs, re-jetting and you have to whip them out 20 or so times....Wonder why they've been bypassed tho
Probably not but the water warms pretty quick before the thermostat is opened. You think of the temperatures in the cylinders as it's firing. Boom..I don't think the missing coolant hoses will have caused your bad starts as the coolant wouldn't have warmed up before its started running
