reserve lights on off on off

Filed up last night full tank of fuel but I sat on the bike and stood it upright so I could get as much as possible in the tank, i don't normally do this,
I then fired it up and straight away the fuel light is going mental on off on off at 200mph, after 10miles no change.

Any ideas lads?

Check the fuel gauge connector where it plugs in under the seat. Check the bulb

They are bloody fast those Repsol's

I had the same problem the other day when I put a bit more fuel in than normal. It seemed to go away after a while. It was a bit bizzare

It's weird in it. I filled my tank right up to the limit by the overflow bar. It must upset the sender unit somehow.

Anyway glad it was an easy fix

Cheers buddy never had it happened before, don't think I will be doing that again at the filling station
