just thinking about this i wonder if the driver of the van was the owner or if its his works van?
Either way it's insured and the old bill have the details so they will know who the owner is. If it's a works van (No company logos or markings on it) the company will know who was driving at the time. So if they get sacked it's an added bonus.

Hey,

Sorry to hear the bad news.

Lets hope your cops are better than the ones down south. I had mine knocked over with a bent swingarm, bent forks as a result. The driver was told what she had done but drove off anyway. I got it through her insurers in the end but the police refused to do anything even though she admitted to knocking it and driving off without leaving details.

Lets hope yours is fixed soon, its an absolute butt being without wheels.

Mother suckers !

Gutted for you mate.

Shame the coppers won't be like gene hunt and give them a right good hiding like they would've dine back in the 70's.

Hopefully they'll get more than a slap on the wrist and be made to pay up for the damages, plus a bit more for inconvenience

Carl - just read all this, gutted for you and hope the Bill and insurers stick it to them. Absolute tossers and feel just as others have mentioned.

If you need a hand with anything I'm sure we can get a crew to come and help, not that I'd be any use  but can make tea.

Only just picked up on this thread, truly gutted for you Carl, as I think we all are.

I think you should keep this thread open, as I think every man, woman and dog on here is rooting for a happy and satisfying conclusion.

Knowing the British legal system it might take a while but hang in there matey and keep us all posted.
