That's nuts!!

Although I think it's a VFR as the coolant expansion bottle is just in shot, that's where it is on the VFR.

The vtr is on the otherside nearly out of view :-)

Yes I bet he did, but they are not nuts they are acorns.....

More to the point what evil furry thing stashed them there & what other damage has it potentially done to the bike?

What makes a Rodent a Rodent is that the incisors top & bottom grow constantly & they have to gnaw on hard materials to keep them sharp. Wires & rubber trim are also fair game as they strip bits off to use as nesting.

So whose the culprit here?

Mice don't stash food like in the picture & as they crap everywhere & no droppings are visible I doubt its Mr Mouse.

Squirrels do stash food & will nibble the top of the acorn off before burying it to stop it germinating, but all those in the picture appear to be completely empty. However I doubt a squirrel would stash food in this fashion so that counts out Mr Fluffy Tail.

Rat's do stash food & looking at the damage to the acorn shells it's looking like Mr Rat is the chief suspect.

However from the photo we cant be sure 100% where in the world this has taken place so it could be some other species of Rodent.

My money is on a member of the Rat family.......Sid Stasher or possibly Frankie ''The Nibbler'' Nibbs.

Good process of elimination there Macster. Didn't know about the squirrels biting them to stop the germination.

Thanks for the lesson  Now go do something useful like catching dirty vermin rats.

There was a case of a part of a mouse found in a Topic, I saw a photo of it when I was doing my Pest Control training. He had been feeding on the hazelnuts in the warehouse ended up going through the whole process ending up in someone's snack!!

Can't find the pic on line but have this to make you enjoy your sandwich with......

I have just done a check on VIN number and it is a 2002 VFR800 manufactured in Japan, but does not say where it was shipped to.

Looks like a loaf of medium sliced white to me.....

British Bakeries, Hovis or Mothers Pride or even some own brand supermarket loaf....Probably from Forest Gate or Erith bakery.

Failing that Kingsmill or Sunblest which is baked in Orpington.
