Now if the can was the other side http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-VTR-Fir ... 41670b168e

There is someone in Oz that makes carbon hangers for the Storm and SP1, can't find the link at the moment.I think that one you got there could be one of them. Are you going to move the mounting hole? Now all you need is a carbon strap as well

I've just been out sorting my exhaust out where it got rammed over the other day the left can was loose at the 90 degree bend and blowing :( It's still not right, got to buy a heavy duty clamp as it keeps slipping round causing the end of the can to lean in to much. I'm gonna try a car clamp as it need to be strong and solid. I managed to get some rubber straps under the Akra hangers so that's a lot more secure now with no play around the cans.

One day I will get that left can secured and positioned properly once and for all. It's always given me grief on that side.

Yep removing the currant ones and making new ones to fit so all the lines and angles look good .
When it's finished I will take it off and get my dad to make some spare just in case but out of Aluminium.
I want a carbon can strap and a titanium Oval can akropovic or Leo vance
But will have to wait to see what comes up when money's is better .

Just had a cracking 350 mile blast back down from SW Scotland to Brum. Started out overcast and threatening rain, but stayed dry and the weather go better and better. :D

I linked together loads of great biking roads and ony used the M6 to get through the Manchester corridor as fast as possible. Dropped in at Devils Bridge for tea and a bacon butty, and had a bit of a play with a GSXR750 who was 2 up. He was making rapid progress on the straights and in the overtaking, but when we got into the nice bends he was taking the most peculiar lines and i had to overtake and get clear as he was braking at all the wrong places and I was going to run into him.

Then had a play with a Blackbird on the run into Clitheroe.. Was lots of fast overtakes going on there and fook are those things rapid!

So in the last week I have covered about 1100 miles, and I guess 10 tanks of gas to go with it.....all on fantastic biking roads, so I still have a big grin on my face as I sit here typing this. :D :D :D

Then spent 2hrs cleaning the cow sh1t and flys off it

Well today and yesterday has been productive. I have put an extra layer of foam on the seat as me and the mrs got a bit sore the other week

And yesterday I got my braided, carbon sleeved brake lines. Pics are not so good.

There are not bad to be honest but I think I shall go back to continental road attack 2 though when they are due to be changed. I hand them on my last bike and they were fantastic.

Me neither - I hurtled back down the M1 from Derby at midnight. Complete opposite. If there's a Storming Scotland I'm in

Fitted a new tail tidy and the old number plate with all the tyre scraped off it, as the new number plate hasn't arrived after twelve days.
Then took it to the bunfight at the Romford corral.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

No, haven't braced myself sufficiently yet.

While I was at it I fitted a carbon tank protector I had .

To finish of today's tinker time I polished the filler cap as the paint was all scratched of and looked crap .
