Talking about under paint. Your bike is like mine, I can see bits of Red creeping through  Filler cap looks nice and shiny.

Today I removed the VFR bars, I didn't like the way it felt so put the originals back on after spraying them Black. I may look into buying some nice expensive (£100) bars in the future but for now I'm content with the OM ones.

Mostly I've been finishing my CCT Stopper mods    So now I'm safe from sudden and catastrophic failure.
Quick 50 mile test and all was well. Some pictures below of me and my toy...I took the opportunity to clean the insides when the tank was off...I like clean insides, make the bike run better:

This (below) would have been a good picture if the Richard on the bike had put his coat and bag somewhere else

My CCT stopper - made from the shank of an M8 steel bolt...

This is how the plug came out...

Ah, yes, that's now...but back in the day...

Also I'm BBC - bald by choice. Makes for a tighter fit on your helmet. I like a tight fit, me.

Today I have been busy finally getting my new freshly painted engine in the Fazer.

This is the frame painted and protected ready for the lump to go in.

And the engine. Clutch, generator and sprocket covers are getting sprayed in a matte finish as I go along.

Back in frame, generator and sprocket now sprayed

I have yet to do the clutch

Feel like I achieved quite a bit today. All went smooth apart from one mystery hose I can't find. I had the plugs out and the colour on them is good with no signs of oil, so a good sign as I have not heard the engine running yet.
