Iv just had a quote for the tank respray, £65-£70...

He's just matching the paint for me now. I gave him the code Carl gave me PB-215C ;-)

You will be doing well if it comes in at that price mate. That blue is a three stage paint, and takes a lot of work go get it looking right.

Hummm. Would it be a good price for this code B-162m? It's what's under my seat. However the bikes had a respray so not sure if it was the original colour?

The bike is a 99 in a W plate :-)

Yeah B-162 comes back to 'medium blue metalic'he's going to check both them codes out, spray a sample and compare them to my bike :-)

Given that yours has had a respray mate, as evidenced by the wing decals, I reckon they have done it in the same colour as my bike, Candy Taihitian blue PB215C. Have a butchers at this -

That is a very close match Kev, I hope he sticks to his quote then of £65-£70 if you say there's a lot of work involved!? :-(

Thats exactly as I thought. And if you look closely at Scotts pics you can see that sort of washed cloudy candy look in the paint that you get with the Tahitan Blue.
