Hi guys new here just got my firestorm a few weeks ago and was just wondering would a side stand from another honda fit. bike stand is bent and i just dont trust it any help would be great,its a 97 import registered in ni in 2001 thanks stevie :thumbup:

There are a few options with the sidestand but the cheapest is going to be a CBR1100 Blackbird stand http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic ... =sidestand

The only caveat to that is the blackbird/x11 and fireblade stand is llonger than stock Storm, so if you aren't raising the rear end the bike may sit much more upright with the danger it could topple over. If you have the spacer under the rear shock it should be ok.

Thanks for the replys i will just have to keep looking, missed one on ebay yesterday, is there any change the stand could be straightened a few guys have told me it would maybe weaken or break it.

Welcome, just a thought what about taking the stand off and applying some heat with a blowlamp and bending it to the right shape?
