A414 Leaving Harlow

Post by Kev L »

Red one two up heading out of Harlow past Eastwick (the right direction to be going!) today at about 11:30am. I was on the much faster Blue one heading into Shite city!

Hi kev, there's a red one with black 'flame' decals around this area too.

I've seen a nice (?) yellow one around Ware a couple of times as well. Just not members on here yet I guess.
How you doing fella? Life treating you well?

Indeedy thanks kev, I've been well and truly completely engulfed in the para Olympics. This weekend was delightful, I could hear people opening it up down the A10 and felt slightly envious.

I'd like your advice if I may. I "sold" some brake pads to a forum member, sent them off but no reply or payment.

Many messages later, nothing.

Hell, it's no loss to me, but possibly a lesson to all.

Is it worthwhile naming and shaming?

That's very unpleasant mate. I should imagine everyone would want to know who they can and can't trust. I know some would say you should have waited for the payment, but I have sent stuff off prior to receiving payment in the past to peeps on here, and I know others have as well.

Same as above, only caution is that some people dont get on here as often as us addicts, so they might have been distracted by a real crisis [or on holiday] and not had time to catch up, but if the forum log shows they have been online and the messages have left your outbox then they are taking the piss!

After 3 weeks name and shame

Agree, Yes if it was ebay they would get negative feedback to warn others. It saddens me slightly that this happens on here as we are/should be a more closer community.

maybe the person in question is having an unforseen issue, but as was said earlier if they have been logged on to the site and haven't been in contact thats bad.
strangly it goes both ways, i have 2 items indoors which forum members have bought and paid for but haven't collected, if tried contacting them many times and even offered to post the items free of charge, but i've got no reply, i might have to do the same as gilson and stick a post up asking for them to contact me, but both members have been away from the forum for a while.
anyways i hope you get it sorted buddy, this forum has renewed my faith in people so to speak and its a shame this has happened.
HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!

I'd rather not name and shame, yet.

I'll be watching and waiting to pounce.

My fault for not getting payment first but I do believe in showing good faith to receive it. But then also what goes around comes around.

Innocent until proven guilty.

Man, are these all cliches?
