if your getting a slight rattle set it to tdc on that cylinder and undo the locking nut on the mcct then wind in the mcct bolt ONE flat on the bolt tighten the locking nut and test it .
if it still has a rattle repeat until it goes away .but only ONE flat of the bolt at a time .

I do believe you can also do this with the engine running, makes it easier to really hear the cam chains in action; please correct me if i'm wrong

You can do if your very careful, but you risk it unwinding at a great pace. Another good reason for coating the thread in silicone when initially installing them.
