Andy had it in with a dealer who correctly worked out that the front CCT had failed, but then said an engine swap might be the best option.
Considering how much labour a dealer would charge to take the head off, refurb and reinstall correctly, they may have had a point.
But only if they don't have to spend days trying to unseize the engine mounting bolts.....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Tony for sorting my bike out and so promptly and inexpensively, :D Tony did a great job and was a pleasure to deal with. And also gave me heads up on some other things that need tidying up which I was not aware of. All in all I am very pleased! :) And relieved...

Hey Tony if your just up near Brands could i arrange for you to fit a set of manuals to my Vtr while the winters coming in ?
Im just down near Gatwick.
If you could like do it in a day i can ride up and ride back all being well ......this CCt shits scaring the life outta me :crazy: :beer:
