I think foam may be better, especially where if the lines are a bit long they rub on the inside of the fairing when steering. Frame looks good. 
Yep, on the list of to do's. Tbh would have done it before i put the mesh in but didnt have any red about. If I was doing it properly I'd have painted the whole thing, but hey ho.
