temp gauge not working

Post by agentpineapple »

just before stripping down my old p-plate bike, the temp gauge stopped working and the fan wouldn't kick in, i checked all the fuses, but they were fine, what is the more likely reason for this?
temp switch?
electrical fault?
thermostat shagged?
is this a commonish fault?

any ideas gents and ladies..........

It will be fine when we put the bike back together. I suspect the fan switch took a knock when putting the fairings back on.
