I'm not normally a fan of anodised bits but that doesn't look to bad, not sure if you in the UK or not but the leavers shouldn't pass a UK MOT as they require i ball on the end i think...

Those levers are just scary. Imagine either a pedestrian or yourself landing on them. Oow I just had a vision of a high side and falling down onto one
