i have just bought a 1997 VTR 1000. it has a K and N filter on it, and a Moriwaki Titanium Exhaust. i am doing the stopper mod to the camshaft tensioner and also changing a few shims, so i have had to take the rear cylinder cams out. however they don't look the same as a standard set of cams!
i have no idea how to load an image onto this message, but -
each has FR,RR IN, (orEX) plus R2 or R3 stamped on them? are these on a normal set of cams?
note - between the lobe and the cam sprocket there's no groove cut out the cam on my cam. this is present on a normal cam.
i think they are Moriwaki cams.
if someone can tell me how i load a picture onto this message that would help!
what are my camshafts?

Quick off the mark there Lloydieif they are and you dont want them send them my way

This don't sound standard. You should have an FI and FE (front inlet and front exhaust) and RI and RE (rear inlet and rear exhaust) on the cam sprockets. Are these marks on the cam sprockets or the cams themselves?each has FR,RR IN, (orEX) plus R2 or R3 stamped on them?
It will be interesting to see what they look like.

You cannot tell from the sprockets, as they can just be taken off the camshafts. The sprockets are standard.
I will get organised but will need to make some form of site up online to upload my pics to.

copy and paste the direct link with [img] one one side and [ /img] on the other, with no spaces

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
