hi guys and girls, new to this forum, obviously, but not to biking or to bike forums.
just picked up a spanking 98`vtr in what i think is pearl shining yellow this morning from london and enjoyed every minute of the 117 mile journey back to brum.
will post some piccies when i clean the crud off it..............i will enjoy......safe-ish riding, time for a :beer:

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

thanky muchy....seats a bit on the firm/numb elbow side though......the misses has already named it....."thumper"....for obvious reasons...great sound even on standard cans...... :crazy: . what i am after is some pearl shining yellow paint....dont know where though.......i`ll give ebay a go......

If its stock pearl yellow your after ! Just a heads up its near imposable to match without a full respray :-(

cheers buddy....might mod the standard pipes as i mod every one on every bike i`ve had untill i find the sound i want.....luv the sound of the twin and this is my first twin, always had 4 pot kwaks...last was a zzr1100...great bike but always found myself going nearly twice what plod recommends.. :shh: ......the `storm may keep that in check a bit ................ :lol:

another reason i bought this one was the fact its had a recent rear showa shock, cct`s(will probably mod these though),scott oiler,datatool alarm/imob. recent service. dont really need to spend too much tbh..........oh, and only 2 owners...
