16l tank  I have done 10miles when the light has come on but I haven't pushed it any further. I generally fill up as soon as I can once the light comes on. Also I don't like to run tanks too low or they may bring crap up from the bottom of the tank into the carbs.

There's only one way to find out the exact miles, and that's to put a fuel can on the bike and ride it until it wont go anymore.

Never done it, but about 23 miles, if you base it on 13 litres getting you to 100 miles, with the 3 left in the tank. Possiibly a tad further if you button it right off, but good luck if you try

If a full tank on a Firestorm is anything to go on I would fill up as soon as I saw a petrol station when the light came on.

Did 12 miles on the M4 after the light came on as I passed a service area, bit of a elbow clencher but it still held the usual amount

I end up putting 11l in at 100 miles so in theory there is still 5l in there but I wouldn't risk another 50 miles! I have done another 25miles before but was kacking myself. Think it took 14l that time

As far as you can push it...

I managed to do 27 miles from light going on till engine died. I managed to free wheel her into a garage and refuel and rode out again, no problems to report.
