Damnation. The matt black paint looks really good. Usually I hate that color, but in this case your Storm makes me think about the one and only SR-71 Blackbird.

And that is one seriously fast plane...

Trust only black, it never goes out of fashion. Stay with black until they invent something darker.

Two questions as well. Tank looks like it is not standard. Is this the famous 19l version or something else?

And the indicator lights look very good, where I can get those too?
- Hey, get out of that tincan you call a car
'Coz that old thing wont get you far
Don't take a bus and don't grab a cab
'Coz I got a thing that'll drive you mad -

Yeah, it hasn't got the road presence of the gloss black but it looks more intimidating I guess? And it's still fast black so :biggrin

And black goes with everything, no need to get any new textiles or leathers when I start riding it :D

It's on an '05 plate, so I do very much believe that is the 19l tank :P
Not sure about the indicators, I bought it on Saturday as is in the pictures, they may be stock too? I believe the updated Storm had different indicators too, smaller ones or something?

Yes 19l tank and the indicators where made smaller and tidier on the later storms too. Though I think the ones you have are aftermarkets.

Oh okay, it'd probably be best to ask Lanny for any information on aftermarket parts then because I bought it from him  I do know about the LED rear light, Ohlins, Forks, Brakes and Tyres. But that's it :P

Dunno, we're gonna SORN it until his insurance renews and then he'll put himself on it. He said on one of the ride outs with his friends from work we'll swap bikes for the first leg of the journey... :S Looking forward to it, yet still filled with fear  So probably April time

I have no doubt I'll love it, it's just it won't be restricted by then. And while I've ridden around on my dads' 1050 Sprint ST supervised, the VTR is different and big and scary
