I'll tell you in about a week
I delivered a rusty sub frame.....sandblasted and then powder coated. I expect it to be as new but I will let you know!

Done mine :-)
You need to remove some of the coating from the sub frame where it bolts to the main frame .
And on the other earthing points .

Re masking, just put a nut and bolt through with a large washer on the side where you don't want coating. Better than tape, as it won't come off when it's being blasted.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

yip done this .. week later had some crazy stuff going on on the bike .. bad earth, so I ran a new piece of earth cable from the negative to the earth bolt near the regulator, all sorted .. I have done about 3000 miles on the bike since and the powder coating is failing underneath and rust bubbling through .. pish job .. make sure its well shot blasted first ..

you could always use tony's patented garden hose mod on the center bar that gets the worst of the corrosion......

HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!
