Got stranded coming home yesterday when it would'nt start after stopping, eventually got a jump, lights very dim coming 12mls home...
left it outside last night/today on charge
.After commuting Mon on dry roads it was covered in salt spray, the hose was still frozen so could'nt wash it, got home tonight and the heavy rain has left it spotless . :)
Started first time.... :| Battery? Reg/rect?
Got the test meter out, had loaned it to a "friend" who said it did'nt work, looked inside, fuse blown, now wrapped in silver paper...resistor burnt too... so he has connected it up wrong or something, so I'm going to put a bulb on a wire in the live feed from the RR to have a guess at what is coming out, but somehow I dont think this will have healed overnight...

Took it for a little ride to test the clutch and advancer .

The clutch works great now with the stronger springs :-)
And as for the advancer :-) :-) I like it a lot .
It revs up faster and smoother and with more pull . It feels like its got more torque though out the rev range
Was it worth the £35 I paid for it .......YES :-)

blue two is still in hundreds of pieces mate, its spread thru out the house with parts in two different bedrooms, garden and shed....
i also took some video but deleted it by mistake.... :(
the pegs have 6 different positions, maximum of 1 inch down and 1 inch back, it should make things more comfy for longer rides....
