That would be me mate, me and the Mrs on our way to moreton in marsh, should have been earlier but we all know what women are like getting ready to go out, twas feckin cold coming back about 1730 when the sun had gone down, even colder for me as I had to give the Mrs my jumper as her top kept untucking from her trousers and she had a cold back bless her, so I rode back with just a tshirt under my jacket

That's a relief I thought I was on the receiving end of a one way talking to for a moment then, yes the midlands yellow storm community has increased although I was wondering if there were any here at all apart from mine.

As for the noise I do love it its a shame my neighbours don't I had my first noise complaint last wknd lol but they did not have the baldrocks to confront me about it, just typed a snotty letter and posted it through my letter box

sounds like you have some spineless fiddler near by.

suggest we have a meet up at your house so your neighbour can see that there are worse things than having 1 V-twin riding up the street..............you can have 10

Sounds like a plan to me guys, get as many v twins as possible all meet at my house for tea and tiffin because bikers are civilized creatures who drink with their pinky finger out, not loud obnoxious hooligans who do anything to annoy there spineless neighbours. And then all go for a leisurely ride through the west midlands countryside, well go for a hoon after suitably pissing off one maybe two of my neighbours as all the others don't give two shits and understand that my bike is my only means of transport and that myself and my girlfriend are shift workers. So as and when people are free and the weather is playing ball and its a wknd when I don't have my son then I think it is a damn fine idea. Keep me posted on when is a good time for everyone the more the merrier. Somebody is going to regret they ever wrote that silly letter lollol

Don't know if you have seen any posts but the forum holds workshop days.
http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic ... rkshop+day
Basically anyone that wants to play host can volunteer a workshop at their house.

The idea is that it gives those that are not so mechanical minded to get the chance to to do some work on their bikes under the guidance and supervision of those that no a bit more. It's a good chance to meet up with others, get some work done on the bikes and have a bit of banter. At the end of the day we usually have a group ride out on the local roads before we all shoot off home

If you like the idea of it, have a think about a date that suits you that does not clash with anything else. Other workshop day's, group ride out's, TT or whatever. Then post a thread up with dates to see who and how many are up for it.

My neighbours had nothing but praise when a few guys popped round for last year's Workshop Day

And this lot were seen talking with Volvo owners and eating posh biscuits in the West Midlands area......before wheelieing off down the street with open pipes and black visors :D

my 80yr old neighbour thought it was great, and the bike cop across the road has no problem with loud pipes

they should be available for hire over Coventry way
