Look what turned up in the post today.

BRISK BOR10LGS High Performance  Spark plugs. I have fitted them in the bike. A couple of things to be aware of. The tip at the top that needs unscrewing was on too tight and I ended up having to use a spanner and a pair of pliers to remove them. At one stage I thought they where fixed on and going to snap :eek2 Also the plug spanner required is not the standard Storm size and a 16mm is needed instead of 19mm. I ended up using a 5/8 (16) plug spanner I had knocking around. Note that is not thread size that plug spanners are measured in when purchasing ie a 12mm plug spanner is usually needed for the Storm.

I can't see any variation in length between the NGK's and Brisk. Apparently the Brisk are supposed to be about 3mm longer so go deeper into the cylinder.

Went out for a quick spin and I don't feel any noticeable difference, possibly a little smoother but hard to tell. I didn't get up to any high speeds as it was just a quick town ride. Going out down some A roads tomorrow so I shall see how it feels then.

Would I buy them again? No! not at this moment in time unless I notice an improvement in fuel consumption. Lets see how the bike performs tomorrow and what my fuel consumption is like.

I have the silvered bulbs in mine, don't think they are as bright as stock really.

That's the kit I bought Chric, just didn't like the look of the orange bulb through the lens so I bought silvered bulbs which flash orange. It's all about the aesthetics dearie!!!!!!!

Took the bike in for it's MOT and it passed. :D The bike had a good run, done close to 70miles and up to 3 figures  It does feel a little more responsive with the new plugs and is smoother. It was so cold coming back I had to open the throttle to get home quicker

Almost got a tug as I went a bit fast back in town past the rozzers on the other side of the road. I thought they where going to do a U turn as one of them starred right at me. Then further up the road, all of a sudden a copper steps out between a gap in a building and gave me a dirty look, I starred right back at him. Checked in my mirror and I'm sure he was clocking my plate to do a check. I wouldn't mind but I wasn't even speeding then, it was just low gear high revs through traffic.

Ooo very nice are those Scorians Titanium, they have that Titanium sheen to them. I think you will notice a big difference with the scorpians, you get some serious pressure come out the back of them. No jetting required with Scorpians either (though they would benefit) as long as you have a standard filter.
