I thought long and hard (oo er) about this when fitting mine, but the only way to do it would be to somehow extend the pegs out past the cans. So a bracket would need to be made with spacers like on some high mounts. But you have to consider with the cans up that high the pillion would possibly burn the inside of their legs, so maybe some kind of shield would be required over the top of that part of the can.

Have you seen I've finally made a start on my clutch window mate.

You would have to re-drill the mounting holes in the subrame or make another hole in the bracket, as the distance apart on the bracket is different. But you may have to do this anyway as the SP pegs/brackets would have to be mounted more towards the rear unless you had an added bracket mounted where the can normally connects going towards the rear to mount the can. But all that aside, don't you think the SP pegs are a bit high. The pillion would have to do yoga to get feet on them. And isn't the SP pillion seat slightly more raised than the storm to accommodate this. I suppose it would be more comfy if the pillion sat the height of the seat cowl.

i tried the 945 (they have a good angle and would clear the exhausts, but that didnt fit as the gap was diffrent between the holes, so will have to be later than that, if you find one that fists i would be happy mate and would consider putting some back on

Argh , I understand now, their not pillion pegs they are trick/stunt pegs. I can just see you, front wheel up in the air, standing on the rear pegs bouncing up and down on the back wheel like a BMX.

Fit carbon sleeved cans, they stay cool.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
