LHS Switchgear
How the hell do you remove it?
I can only see 1 screw underneath, but it wont come apart...I dont want to force it too hard unless I break it.

Re: LHS Switchgear
There's another screw tucked away towards the front of the clamp - fine tipped short handle works well

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Thanks guys, yeah I found them when I finally found that other screw. Couldn't see it for looking.
Couldnt get the 2 parts separated though as the cable going through the bottom half is too tight to let you get at the screws inside. Doesn't matter, I still fixed what I was trying to fix anyway.

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Yeah it does look that way mate. As I say, I couldnt pull the 2 halves far enough apart to be able to get a screw driver in to take it apart further. I reckon if I did, it could have been one of those jobs where it is a nightmare to put back togetherbenny hedges wrote:quite fiddly in there isnt it once you take it apart lol!

Springs spring to mind, or is that over the garage floor.

Yep. Once you remove that small brass plate inside, there's a spring and detent ball that leap out and scurry under the workbench, or if you're working al fresco, somewhere on the lawn.
That's where a magnet on a stick comes in handy.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
