Out of the two I would go with the Blade as has been said, build quality.

The k5 was the best year for the gixxer without a doubt. My biggest problem with the gixxer is that there are loads of them. But then that is the same with the RR. Looks wise I would have the gixxer any day. I love the shape of them. But as Virt said, Honda has the better quality. I think you would be happy with either one. Think about how you would feel if you got the gixxer, would you feel like you should have got the RR? and vise verser.

Can you take them for a test ride?

Gixxers are surprisingly comfortable for what they are - I test rode one but I really don't like IL4's and I couldn't see me going any faster on the sort of roads I like than I do on the Storm.

I'd go for the Blade if it was me - Gixxer looks like white stilletoes and the Blade is Jimmy Choo. (WTF am I talking about  )

Whatever you're happy with seb as they're both cracking

going on your recommendations to MissTiggy the Blade was your first and most put forward recommendation by a long way, in the pics above it outnumbers the GSXR 3:1

I voted the Honda and have a soft spot for them in that year.

Not sure if it matters but a woman I knew got a Suzuki as it was the only one she could sit on and touch the floor.. so not sure if they are smaller and that matters to you?
Why ask... sometime you just go to do it and find out?

100% blade. I'm biased because I just bought that exact model, but the build quality is second to none with Honda and it won't corrode on you like a Suzuki. Get caught in the rain and the paint will peel like an orange :-) lol probably not really, but they do corrode worse than other bikes.

The power on that bike is insane. Really. Just go test drive one. Or come ride mine.

The gizxer may be slightly more insane, but really, unless you're on a track are you ever going to notice?
