Hi folks
I noticed a small amount of play in the rear wheel bearing today (not on the chain side). Is this acceptable, or will they need replacing?
Also, I'm in the middle of the stopper mod... Sorry for sounding thick, but I don't get what you mean by "turn the worm in the rear CCT clockwise 1/4 of a turn and lock off". I've made the key and it fits down the slot in the CCT, but I'm worried about getting it wrong...! Can you clarify exactly what you mean by 'lock off'?
Many thanks!

Get bearings done before it falls apart and makes getting it out more difficult

You turn the tensioner against the spring and lock it into position into the slots in the end of the tensioner with the widest part of the key, tape it in place while you remove the tensioner from the engine. You dont want it coming out and losing the correct position while you do the stopper mod. Hope that makes it clearer.

Thanks guys, all sorted... Now I'm replacing the bearings. Nearly £70 inc delivery eek!

£70 is too much.
Seals are £150-£2.50 each and decent bearings from a local; engineers are around £6-£10,each. SKF.
