Extended brake line

Post by darkember »

I'm contemplating fitting my raised bars this summer. Has anybody on here done this & would you be able to measure the length of the front brake line to the the splitter? Closeup pictures of the system would also be helpful showing banjo types and connections ect. Please don't say it comes in the kit. I have the bars & riser but the lines had been lost when i collected the bike. Below are the photos of the bar riser.

First change them bars to ultra low renthals as them you have are to high .
Then normal length brake lines will fit .

These have been on the bike before I had it & I'm after comfort. Ill be riding like Geo :D :D. Though you may have a point as the bars are £31 & the brake line will be more than that, but I do fancy sticking braided lines on anyways
