Get the red one, not as it's faster but it's unscented, will make your hands feel greasy, but a good rub just before bedtime works wonders...& do your hands to.

I always have a couple of boxes of Nitrile gloves open at home in the garage and at work, I find they are tough and thin enough to feel most things and keep my hands nice I used to get dermatitis bad from oil and petrol so wear gloves now.

there is no need to NOT wear gloves these days, there are a glove for every kind of work undertaken, it IS NOT a man thing to have friked up hands. Barrier cream and Nitrile ||Rubber gloves evertime to me, the blue are a little to inflexible, the white ones just rip but the nitrile ones are pretty comfy, Cybercarl, I agree about fiddly jobs and a loss of feel, simple answer, clean it thoroughly with gloves on and then take them off and do the fiddly work. you don't have to wear them all the time, just when there are chemicals , Dirt and oil in use.
All petroleum products are carcinogenic, old and new.And as for the byproducts, well, sheep with 2 heads springs to mind.

Wear blue powderless gloves every day prob go through 20 + that's with reusing old ones,wouldnt work without them now
When i started in the motor trade glove use was pretty much non existant so my hands are pretty much wrecked,dry,split in the winter etc
on a upnote best soap ive used is the stuff snap on are selling at the moment has pumice,moisturiser and an anticeptic agent in it ,worth a buy if you have acess to a dealer

you guy's with bad hands, go to the chemist and buy some papanthem (I think that's how it's spelt) its a superior nappy rash cream, it is absolutely superb. Use it everday for a week and you will notice a massive diference.

i've been using this that Mac posted up and its working wonders, no longer cracking and bleeding so long as i remember to use it if its going to be cold
