Has anyone done a HID head lamp conversion are there any pro`s and con`s cheers :thumbup:

Dont bother. Its totally crap. Cant see naff all
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Only do it if you are doing it properly, taking out the internal reflector and fitting a HID Projector unit, RST steve has some pics somewhere this is the only way you won't blind every other wombles on the road, if you just fit a HID bulb kit you will get poor light scatter, its bright but its ridiculous

here is a kit that uses a projector

you will have to separate the housing, either use a hair dyer to make the silicone gunk pliable or put it in the oven on a low heat for a bit

Many thanks, I did`nt realize it be so in depth having said that steve`s conversion looks really cool, maybe i will just buy a better head lamp bulb later on in the year. :thumbup: :wave:
