Welcome to the club mate. Happy birthday and enjoy the bike. It's only a good present if it's in the best colour! Opinions may vary as to what that is.

Thanks for the replies

I have had the bike a week or two but decided to wait till the end of the month to tax it I dont suppose it will run any better though I was persuaded by my wife to buy the bike this was a benefit of agreeing for her to buy a Horse last year having sold all our bikes

We live 3 miles from Oulton Park most days you can hear the track in use I suppose thats where my interest in bikes came from along with the Royal Enfield that my uncle bought for me in 1960 when I was 8 I have had loads of bikes since then I wish I had kept some along the way I can remember every one biking really disease for life you cant be cured

I only thought you could get them in red :) the one I have will be OK when I fix the issues of cam rectifier and the quiet exhaust I could do with a good pair of standard exhausts to cut apart and convert them to absorbtion type to make it sound a little better

Thats it so far I suppose everyone knows where Oulton Park is Its 10 miles from Chester in Cheshire if you dont know

Oh dear it nearly 6.30 am better go and much the horse out

Thanks for the welcome its a great site

cheers

Paul

Happy birthday, nice present  Still think your wife has spent more onthe horse, so your modding and petrol budget should be high to balance that out.

Do a search on "bafflectomy " and you will see there s an easy way to liberate the correct nose from standard cans.....but then it will frighten the horse :o
