Running rough
Help needed please. After braking from high speed going into a 40 my bike developed a terrible misfire and would cut out if at idle. I could only ride it above 6k rpm and it was stinking of fuel from exhausts. Any suggestions much appreciated.

Hi there & welcome. Someone on here should be able to point you in the right direction. First thing I would check is that you have a good spark at the plugs
Re: Running rough
there is a known problem with the carb breathers after heavy braking [cant find teh post, but if you search you will find].........but it should only be a temporary issue, so if it is still doing it, you have got another issue as well

Re: Running rough
It's the carb vent hoses that run from each carb and slide through the carb brackets each side in-between the two carbs. Basically the holes in the bracket can be a bit restrictive and block the flow in which case under heavy braking it temporally floods the carb. Simple fix. Remove air filter and either pull the vent hoses out of the brackets slightly so there is not such a sharp bend in the hose or pull them out the brackets totally and let them hang loose.
