Thanks for the welcome, 1st thing im gonna do is the ccts, bike still has originals and a good service, ive a new light tint screen and new gold barends ordered up,also ordered a set of gauges to get my carbs balanced, come the winter im considering spraying the wheels gold and tidying the fork legs up (paints starting to peel), just going to go through the bike from front to back till shes like brand new, being a big roadrace fan from northern ireland i was also a big joey fan and I remember when I was a kid seeing him racing the honda britain machinery at the national roadraces, red with gold wheels hence why I like the idea of those colours on my bike, looking forward to getting the bike sorted

Hello!

Good choice of bike.

Although from the title I was expecting a little pedal Firestorm replica with stabilizers...

Nice steed mate, welcome to the site too

Shame you picked the slower model

Red ones are about 10 ponies down on the yellow one and 15 down from the rapid blue bikes and ice white models

Stange 100% factual storey -

I walked out of B&Q last month with two paint tins one pearl blue one pearl ice white, did some diy at home, put the half used tins in the shed, closed the shed door, heard a bang....

Went back to the shed and opened the door to find two empty tins on the foor :eek2

The paint had mixed and there it was... GSXR
