Sammyd wrote:The atmosphere of the nw is good but these last few years its been getting more and more expensive, because of its location theres a lot of non bikers turn up just to get drunk, nothing wrong with having a drink but theres been fights and a lot of bother along the coast road, so I steer well clear, usually end up at back end of circuit, the best one for me is the ugp, brilliant racing, real roadrace fans and the circuit is awesome, its a well run meeting and the club put plenty on during the week
steady on sam
been going to the nw 200 for years and seen no fighting at all don,t want to scare any lads from coming over
its turned into a week long event now lots going on all week with a good atmosphere and you can get real close to the action
if your on the inside of the circuit you can move from corner to corner
told you not to but oh no you knew better

Wouldnt want to put anybody off going to a roadrace, it needs all the support It can get, just the nw attracts a lot of people who arent there for the racing and trouble has flared up in the past in the juniper section, apart from that its still a good days racing and all the big guns are out

Just arrived back home after a complete wash out arrived this morning completly soaked to the ar_e :((weather forecast on fri night 100% correct unfortunatly) only for racing to be called off after 2 laps while waiting for weather to clear and racing to resume nipped into Coleraine for a bite to eat and to get a heat up and dry out only for the storm to refuse to start (immobiliser on) key fob full of water tried new batteries in the fob but no luck so stuck in Coleraine luckily manged to get a family friend (not seen in a while)with a van to take me back to the ferry at Belfast and another friend to pick me up at Cairnryan worrying about the storm rattling about in the back of a van all the way.arrived home safely and tried spare keys and hey ho immobiliser worked :) so new key fob req me thinks .time for some beer  to wind down after eventful day .looking forward to next year weather depending :plainsmile you canny predict the weather  hope everyone got home safe and sound and have dried out
