Re: Service
I run Maxxis on a couple of my bikes, on the storm, supermax sport on the front and diamond on the rear. IMHO a superb tyre
. Stick like sh*t to a blanket through the twisties and around 20-30% cheaper than the "branded" tyres. Highly recommended from me but I`m sure others will be along with their own choices and recommendations.
Cheers
Tim

Re: Service
I run dunlops on mine can't fault them but I generally take it steady any way...... well steady ish. They use maxxis tyres in go kart racing so they must have quite a good foothold on that front, they're not a bad car tyre either people are just put off because they're in the budget tyre price range.
Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most

Hi there & welcome.
I presume you have looked at the issues that need to be addressed asap. CCT's & the reg rectifier checkout the stickies in the knowledge base.

Dunlop Sportmax I have been told are very good & that is from a member who has fitted Corsairs and is not happy with them.

Re: Service
Hi
I had Maxxis on an XJ I used to own, the honest truth is, yes they are very sticky, but they lose out on longevity, they don't have the highly developed compounds of the dearer tyres that will last a lot longer. If you run them hard they will wear away as you watch, but they will give you a confidence inspiring feel especially in the dry.
I am running Michelin PR3's on my fazer at the mo and they are without doubt the best tyres I have run 'so far', phenomenal in the wet, they are meant to have a massive silicon content, all I know is I can't tell when I go over white lines and drain covers in the wet and can still use the whole tyre when its raining.
There is not really a bad tyre for sale these days. but every one will tell you the one they use is the only possible good one.
Personally I find Michelins feel nicer than others, but thats my preference.

Budget storm gradually on the road to spangliness.
